Now the X100V, the fifth in the X100 series, brings a few significant changes. The camera revitalized the brand and brought retro styling back to the forefront of camera design. But the original X100 was a game-changer in the digital camera industry. For more: Fujifilm Fujifilm X100Vįujifilm used to be known for one thing: film. The X-T4 isn’t just an excellent travel camera, it’s one of the best mirrorless APS-C cameras on the market, which makes it-in my view-the reigning champion of 2022 travel cameras. This provides an enjoyable shooting experience for enthusiasts and pros. One of the most impressive things about the X-T4 is that it retains retro charm (vintage dials) while providing professional-grade controls (modern, wheel based), weather sealing, and ports for video or still photography. ( These photos from the Nat Geo archives capture extraordinary moments in time.) It shares the same sensor and image processor as the X-Pro 3, but in an SLR-style body that has all of the controls you could want at your fingertips.
This camera can go toe-to-toe with professional full-frame mirrorless models and DSLRs in performance, autofocus, image quality, and handling.
While other cameras attempt to imitate or technologically usurp the X-T4, none seem able to match the camera’s design, technology, and performance. Here is our list of the best cameras to bring along on your journeys in the year ahead. While this year did not bring revolutionary changes in camera manufacturing, there are some excellent new models and helpful updates to discover. I also test consumer products for this annual guide of compact cameras for travelers. As the photo engineer for National Geographic, I design and build custom equipment for professional photographers. Making photographs is one of the best ways to enjoy your adventures in the moment-and long after you return home. “It feels like I am granted a passport into the hidden stories of the universe, and I’d better make the most of every minute of it.” “Traveling and making photos again is like seeing the north star on a voyage across the ocean,” says National Geographic explorer Kiliii Yüyan. finally. The pandemic may have changed when, where, and how we travel, but it did not stamp out our drive to see the world.Ī return to travel means that wanderlust now has an outlet. I spent weeks trying to get multiple cameras to work in OBS some folks even said it's not possible without a video switcher - my three cameras work flawlessly, natively, right out of OBS. NO NEED TO RENAME identical cameras in the registry MJPEG) - doesn't matter whatever makes your camera look / work the best ("auto" works fine for me) UNCHECK "Deactivate When Not Showing" (this way the camera won't shut off, will be guaranteed to load when switching scenes, and will load instantly) They all work when plugged into USB Hubs, as long as each USB hub is plugged into a seperate USB port on my computer. The very simple fix was: MAKE SURE EVERY CAMERA IS PLUGGED INTO A DIFFERENT USB PORT. If you have two identical cameras rename one of the devices in the registryįor me, none of these things worked. Loading Camera(s) > Shut down & restart OBS and it magically appears Right-Click Camera (source or scene depending on where you embedded your camera) > Properties > Video Format > set to MJPEG Right-Click Camera (source or scene depending on where you embedded your camera) > Properties > "Deactivate When Not Showing"
Allowing camera(s) through firewalls / virus software (especially the bit defender problem) There's a lot of information all over the web about the problems with OBS not seeing cameras, especially when using multiple cameras. Camera / Multiple Cameras Not Showing Up in OBS - NOT Bit Defender NOT "Deactivate When Not Showing"
Update 2): I have tried using the windows 10 camera app as well as Google Handouts, so the camera does work, but I think something is not set right, or something is blocking the webcam to being used. I followed these steps but I did not get the webcam to work. 4) Reinstall Action! from mirillis's website. 2) Go to the regestry and remove the Action! catalog from HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Mirillis/. I have also been in contact with Mirillis Action! to do the following steps: 1) uninstall Action!.
Update 1): I gotten in contact with Logitech Tech Support, and they were unable to find a solution to the problem. I also have the same problem with my other recording software (Mirillis Action!), but the webcam works fine when I test it in my Logitech Gaming Software. OBS can see the webcam, but it doesn't let it work.
When I go into my sources, and add a "video capture device", the device is colored red, as well as the FPS and the Video Format.
This problem has popped up recently (ever since the latest windows 10 update).
